“Art for me is like the act of breathing; it comes naturally, it sustains me, and allows me a great deal of meditation.  I create my art, almost solely for myself, however when I do present my pieces I do so with only a small intention: that each piece will speak for itself. I want my artistic visions to tell a story; this story could relate  to a distant memory, or perhaps this story is something the viewer conjures from the deepest most secret places of their being. Many of my pieces are inspired by nature, the ever changing force that surrounds and sustains us all. Like nature my work can be honest, grotesque, humorous, and even beautiful – all of which can exist in the piece of work in a single breath. My art is also a representation of my imagination gone amuck, the one thing I have managed to hold firmly onto since childhood.  I believe that if music is the sound of humanity’s being, then art-therefore-is the image of that being, and my art is certainly the image of my being.”
